This small painting owes its creation to the wonderful garden in Palazzo Pfanner in Lucca. Not a large garden by Italian standards, but it is very peaceful and serene, with fountains and several wonderful statues. It is a lovely place to rest from the bustle of busy Lucca. I have been there several times, and have done 2 small paintings previously.
