About 2 1/2 hours drive from our Italian place, up the coast towards Genoa, is Portofino, a tiny picturesque harbour, much like a living film set. I have done many paintings from there, and it always intrigues me. Its painted facades, lovely reflections and ever changing boats present an endless supply of subjects.
