This is a subject I have been intending to paint for years. It is a small room adjoining the garden of the house in San Gimignano, where we used to stay during our early in our trips to Italy. The property is 900 years old, and absolutely amazing. We used it as our base in Italy for 9 years, when we finally bought our own house there.
