There is no doubt about it, I like to paint arched doorways. I also love the challenge of capturing light effects, which give old patinas so much life. This whole building is bright yellow, which provides a certain challenge in itself. The facade displays the typical custom, often seen, of leaving particular stones of the underneath construction prominently exposed. I am very happy with the result of this one.
