I have a long series of paintings with pigeons in them. This particular building is in the Piazza Della Rotonda, looking at the Pantheon. It has the most chaotic patina, and I have painted it several times, usually featuring the restaurant / bar below. I liked the abstract quality of this subject, with the pigeons just hanging around
