I tend to paint the canals of Venice without too many gondolas, not because I do not like them, but because I like to focus on the buildings with their wonderful facades and patinas, and the reflections they produce. Although the gondolas are an intrinsic part of the Venetian scene, and its history, I consider them now more the symbols of tourism. However, I couldn't resist adding this one approaching the corner.
