Pietrasanta is the southern end of the Carrara Marble mountains, where I have been many times. It is the more sculptural end of that marble industries zone, and where I went to have my first sculptures cast at Fonderia Del Chiaro. Pietrasanta is filled with many galleries and interesting shops, and I find it a very inspiring place.
