Green Door - Lari

Lari is a small town a couple of kilometres from our home town, Cevoli, in Italy. We go there often. This lovely door is in the street entering the main piazza, and I did a very small painting of it many years ago when we first moved to the area. This year we were there at the height of summer, when everything was bathed in beautiful light and vibrant colour, so I just had to paint this larger one. I am very pleased with the result.
